I thoroughly enjoyed your performance with Aoife Clancy at Irish Fest in Milwaukee. This was the first opportunity I've had to hear you, and I'm hoping you'll be returning to Irish Fest in the future. I took some photos of all of you during the performance on Sunday afternoon. Saw you three in Milwaukee on Saturday night. You caught my ear right away! Thanks for what seems to me your fresh, interesting and original approach! Aoife's voice along with you works very nicely. Lieber Dermot, lieber Tom, ich misch mich ja nicht gern in diese öffentlichen LobHudeleien... Die Erinnerung an die Celtic Days dort mit euch zwingt mich zu einer Ausnahme. Euch kennenzulernen und eurem Konzert zu lauschen gehört zu den schönsten Erfahrungen, die ich in letzter Zeit machen durfte: Tunes, wie sie nur Faries flöten, sehr persönliche, bewegende Songs, alles ganz wunderbar authentisch vorgetragen und witzig kommentiert... Und dann die beiden CDs. Die laufen bei mir rund und rund; die Sleeve-Notes (klasse Dermot!): schiere Literatur! Und ganz besonderen Dank noch mal für deine Liltings in der Session!
